Kathryn Parsley holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Memphis, an M.S. in Biology from Texas State University, and a B.S. in Biology from Cameron University. She is a published author in her academic field, but has yet to become published creatively. She writes science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Plants and botany are heavily featured in most (if not, all) of her work. She is the proud mom of two cats and several house plants.
